Several years ago I discovered podcasts - wow what an amazing resource! Gone are the days of having to listen to content driven by someone else’s agenda on the radio, now I can listen to what I want, when I want to and wherever I choose.
Isn’t that amazing?
Podcasting has allowed me to learn new things and become inspired by others while I’m walking the dog, running (OK maybe jogging!), driving my car and even whilst cooking sometimes - it’s the ultimate multi-tasking activity!
After a few years of loving listening to other shows I had the inspiration to start my very own LinkedIn podcast and I called it LinkedInformed. A weekly show designed to inspire, challenge and educate LinkedIn users.
I really enjoy recording each episode, it’s my favourite time of the week! In 2015 I was honoured and shocked to receive a UK Podcast of the year award, something I am very proud of.

My somewhat unrehearsed acceptance speech at the UK podcast awards!
Producing content is a really important part of successfully growing a business these days but writing blog posts was never really my thing, I still write sometimes but I am much more comfortable sitting in front of a microphone, sharing my weekly thoughts and advice on how to get the most from LinkedIn….maybe I just like the sound of my own voice too much (it has been said before!).
I live in rural Cheshire with my daughter, occasionally my son (he is at uni’) and Milo, the family dog!
If you are interested in finding out more about my background then guess what? I have a LinkedIn profile you can check out!
Feel free to send me an email, invite me to connect or leave a voicemail message by clicking the ‘Ask me a question’ button on the right edge of this page.
